The New Providence Pioneers shut out the Bulldogs of Dayton under the lights at Dayton High School Tuesday night October 1st, 1-0.
The goal scored in the 23rd minute by senior midfielder and co-captain Zain Stedman, assisted by junior James Marriot proved to be the lone tally for New Providence, as they won their second straight game.
Pioneer goalie Michael Zamora posted his first clean sheet of the season, keeping Dayton off the scoreboard.
The two sectional rivals square off again on Halloween to close out the regular season in New Providence.
