The Future Civic Leaders Club has been in full blast this year, trying to leave an impact not only on our school but definitely the world.

The club hosted a debate on some of the election issues on October 27th.  During the debate, debaters were free to discuss their thought and opinions on hot topic issues such as immigration and healthcare, and also the stances of the Democratic and Republic nominees.  It was a spirited, but non-judgmental, exchange of opinions and a great success.

The next item on FCL’s list this year is birthday boxes.  They will be making boxes filled with party supplies to donate to the Children’s Hospital in Morristown NJ.  They will be used to decorate rooms for the children under treatment on their birthdays.  Imagine what a difference such a small gesture will make to a child stuck in a hospital on such an important day!

Here’s how you can help:  bring in party items such streamers, banners, confetti, leis, party hats, accessories, blow-up decorations, table, decorations, party favors, wrapping paper and anything else party related.
