Club Fair Encourages Participation

New Providence’s 2022 club fair was a huge success, with over thirty clubs represented.  Thanks to the fair, many eager freshmen and sophomores were able to join clubs that sparked their interest.

The transition from middle school to high school can be difficult for any student, but joining a community that features shared interests makes it all the easier.

Freshman Daniela Campos said that “the club fair was something fun and new for high school”, and she found it to be an enriching experience, since she “[likes] doing extracurricular activities” and feels as if it “benefits her” as she settles into her freshman year.

Additionally, Campos said that the clubs “allow you to focus on something that isn’t school related.”

There is also a virtual club fair slideshow, which is extremely helpful to the students who were unable to attend the fair or may have missed a few stands. Leaders of clubs are also letting students join by sending a quick email. The diversity and flexibility of the clubs presented at the Club Fair will shape the future of the student body and encourage students to be a part of the New Providence community.
