Do you live in New Providence and for how long? 

“I do, yeah, for my entire life.” 

What do you appreciate the most about the community here? 

“Probably just the people in it. We are all really nice and friendly, so it is a nice environment to live in.” 

What do you think is the role of Zita’s in the community of New Providence?

”I think it’s a really great family business. A lot of people come here, you know, we get new faces and old faces all the time. So I think everyone kind of knows about it.” 

What impact do you think this ice cream shop has had on the people in your community? 

“I just think it’s a great example of a family business.  Everybody knows it, everybody comes in. We’re super friendly here.” 

How did you come to work at Zita’s? 

“I was really just looking for a first job, and it’s coming up on one year since I’ve began working here.”

How do you think this business has grown since it’s opened or since you’ve been working here? 

“I mean, definitely, we’ve been using new technology around the store. We obviously rotate the flavors a lot and everything, too.”

What do you enjoy most about working at Zita’s? 

“Probably being able to actually talk to my coworkers and customers. Everyone is super friendly, and it’s really nice to meet new people.”

What would you like people to know about Zita’s if they’ve never been? 

“Everything is homemade in the store, everything is made right in the back of the store. So everything is organic and made of good stuff.”
