The Packers will win the Super Bowl this NFL season. 

We see after the first six games of the season that the Packers are one of the best teams in the NFL. There are many strengths to this year’s team but first let’s see the other main competition for the front runners. 

The Patriots are the main competition for the Lombardi trophy. They have the best defense in the league but the offense isn’t what it used to be. Tom Brady is still playing very well but the lack of other weapons makes the offense go stagnant at times. Sony Michel hasn’t played the way he did last year, and in the postseason the Patriots ran the ball a ton. If they are ineffective on the ground, their offense could really stall in the big moments. A popular quote used by NFL analysts is, “Their defense is playing at a level that few defenses have ever played at.” While this is true, they have failed to play a real offense yet. They have played the bottom feeders of the league and have beat one team, the Bills, who are legitimately a good team. But, their offense only averages about 18 points a game. So, the Patriots defense hasn’t played a real offense. 

The Chiefs are another team that are trying to win the big game in January.  The Chiefs are another serious threat due to them having a serious talent at the quarterback position, Patrick Mahomes. Mahomes through his career so far has looked like he has the ceiling to be the best quarterback of all time. But, the running game can’t keep up with the passing game. The biggest weakness of the team though is their defense. Their defense can’t stop anyone and teams use this to their advantage by running the clock and using all of the time of possession. This limits the amount of possessions in the game and the amount of points scored. 

Those are the two biggest competitors to the Packers for the Super Bowl this year. The reason the Packers will beat the Patriots is due to the Packers main issue being run defense. With the Patriots run game being very weak this year, the Packers will be able to limit their run game and make them only pass the ball. Even though it is Tom Brady, the passing defense has been very good this year. 

The Packers will beat the Chiefs due to their defense being terrible. The Packers have an effective run game with Aaron Jones leading the way. They will be able to chew the clock and limit the amount of time Patrick Mahomes has to work his magic. This is the strongest Packers team that has been assembled in a long time. This would be the year that they could make a run in the playoffs and pull off a Super Bowl victory.
