Sammy Cappuccio is a freshman at New Providence High School. She plays volleyball for her school and is also going to start track. Over the summer, she went to the beach, went to Alaska, and went to sleep away camp. Sammy also enjoys being with her friends, shopping, watching TV, and reading.

A Typical Day For a NPHS Student

During lunch, students can sit in the hallway or cafeteria. It is a great time to talk, see teachers, or have club meetings.

Just before the clock reaches 7:44, students must rush to first period.

There are four classes that students must go to in the morning before lunch.

After lunch, students only have to go to two more classes.

At 2:46, students can finally leave the building to go home or to go to sports.

It is typical for students to collaborate with their peers during class.

At 11:53, it is time for students to head to lunch.

Soon after school ends, many students have to make their way to sports that aren’t connected with the school.

Before going to bed, most students must finish up homework and prepare for their next day of school.

Before lunch, very few students are in the cafeteria.

Most students are in a classroom while classes are in session, except for those working in the hallways or taking a quick trip.

After fourth period, students leave their classrooms to walk to lunch.

Tons of students like to sit in the hallway and eat with their friends.

Lunch is a great time to collaborate or just talk with friends.

The hallways slowly start to fill up with more students.

The majority of the lunch tables are filled up, and students come and go to buy food from the cafeteria.

Lunch is also a great time for students to meet with their teachers for extra help.

Students who want a quieter place to study or work on homework can go to the media center.
