We asked some NPHS teachers and staff to give one line of advice to the graduating senior class.

Here’s what they said:

Ms. Berrios: “Take all the opportunities that are offered to you (within reason).”

Mrs. Lawton: “College is short, enjoy each moment.”

Mr. Criscitello: “Don’t be afraid to take risks. Believe in yourself.”

Mrs. Henriques: “Be positive. Don’t stress.”

Mr. Arnold: “Wear sunscreen. The things you do now will have an impact later. The consequences come later.”

Mr. McCulley: “Don’t live life as a double negative. Too many people are trying to not fail.”

Mr. Klein: “Get involved in all you can during your college experience.”

Mr. Parlavecchio: “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”

Mr. Robertson: “Don’t play it safe.”

Mr. Makmur: “Don’t take freshman year too seriously, but also do take it seriously enough.”

Mr. Carell: “Think back to when you were a child.”

Mrs. Egnozzi: “Savor every moment that you have.”

Mr. Manns: “Stay ready so you don’t have to get ready.”

Mrs. Izbicki: “Find someone who has a car as soon as possible.”

Dr. Hasson: “Persevere.”

Mrs. Gumerlock: “Live with your parents, save you money.”

Ms. DiGeronimo: “You are going to have to work on taking care of yourself, and it’s worth it. Hydrate and take your vitamins.”
