On December 5th, the first sport awards of the year took place at New Providence High School.  The fall sports include tennis, football, soccer, volleyball, cross country, and cheerleading. Freshman couldn’t wait for the experience, and seniors were excited for their last fall sport awards.  It’s a great night to be with your teammates and celebrate a successful season for all. Two awards that were given out were MVP (most valuable player) along with MIP (most improved player). When names were called for the awards, many were shocked and thrilled to have recieved such a great award for their hard work throughout the season.

For football, senior Owen Kovacs and Tucker Davidson were named MVP.

Boys soccer MVP was Mark Elek and MIP, Youssef Ezzeldin.

Girls soccer included junior MVP, Amy Maurer and sophomore, MIP Samantha Ward.

For volleyball, senior Molly Eng was named MVP and MIP, junior Elizabeth Blank.

For tennis, senior Hanna Giedratis and junior Meghan Sarlund were both named MVP.
