Book Recommendations: Romance Edition

Even though Valentine’s Day just passed, love is still in the air! Here are some young adult romance novels to read to keep the spirit of love in the air! 

The Deal by Elle Kennedy 

 

Hannah Wells is making a deal with the hockey team’s captain. If Garrett Graham wants to stay on the team, he needs to get the best grade possible on his retake midterm. So who will he go to for help? The student who got a great grade. Hannah. After bugging her nonstop, she agrees on one term. He has to help her get with the football team’s star player, Justin. These two start to get closer while fake dating and studying. But we all know what happens when two people fake date. It does not stay fake for long. Hannah and Garrett open up to each other about more than they have ever said out loud before. These two come from completely different atmospheres but they connect very easily. At the end of the study sessions and fake dates, will Hannah still want Justin or will she be going for Garrett? This book is the first book in the in the Off Campus series followed by: The Mistake, The Score and The Goal. There is a spin-off series that comes after this series called the Briar U Series. The order of those four books are: The Chase, The Risk, The Play and The Dare

 

All Your Perfects by Colleen Hoover

 

Quinn and Graham have an imperfect marriage. These two met when their significant others were cheating on them with each other. Years later, Quinn and Graham end up falling in love and getting married. Their story is shown from the past and present, alternating between the two every other chapter. When they got married, they wrote each other a love letter and put it in a wooden box, promising to open it on their 25th anniversary or if everything goes wrong. They dreamed of starting a family together, before they found out that the chances of Quinn getting pregnant were very slim. This story will make you feel every emotion possible and you will not be able to put the book down. 

 

It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover

 

Once Lily moves out of her small hometown in Maine, everything starts to seem too good to be true. She moved to Boston after graduation from college and started her own business. To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before Trilogy by Jenny Han

But, like I said before,  fake dating doesn’t stay fake for long.

The Summer I Turned Pretty Trilogy by Jenny Han

This book is also being made into an Amazon Prime TV show within the next two years!

She believes they are too loud and obnoxious for her perfect life. She learns about love, family and friendship through the Garretts and of course she learns what it’s like to be in love. But when Samantha is faced with an impossible decision, she will have to see which perfect family will save her.
